Those early years

1944 - 1964

The school was started with 3 classes – 4th, 5th and 6th. 

Infrastructure

The main entrance to the School was from St John's Church Road and through the play ground. There was large space available at the back of the school to serve as playing space.

1965 – 1980

As new buildings came up at the back to accommodate the rapidly growing school, the gate on St. John’s Church Road was closed and the main entrance shifted in 1976 to Promenade Road so that the games field was fully made use of.
